Right, and C++ added double the keywords of the original C language. Objective-C derived from Smalltalk and only added 6 keywords, or so I’ve read an Objective-C purist claim, around 18 years ago. Their argument was that C++ is much larger than it could be, while Objective-C can do the same with less.

The actual keyword count may no longer be accurate, but the point is some would claim C++ is not the epitome of OOP languages.
