For a long time, I believed that my time is more valuable than money; both when I wasn’t making much and now when I’m comfortably well-set. Not tying myself down to car and home debt has enabled me to enjoy financial freedom. I have done a lot of this through a cubicle though, dressing for success when it matters, so I can’t say I agree with all of it. And still, would be nice to someday have a yard for growing my own food, having barbecues or owning a pet. I guess there’s workarounds for all of those, but it would be easier if the housing system wasn’t broken.
