Agreed with having them for motivating the other developers on the team.

I’ve had the fruitful experience of working closely with a 10x and he taught us a lot that we hadn’t yet gone out of our way to learn. Identifying code smells, anti-patterns, and practicing modern concepts like TDD, SOLID, MVC, CQRS, and Gherkin.

You’re also right that some can be hard to manage or work with, as they tend to question things that nobody else dares to question.

A good 10x can make the whole team more productive.
